Are Those
Cartoon Characters Fucking?

While the exact
origins of adult cartoons and comics are sketchy at best, the
American underground comix scene of the late '60s and early
'70s had a major impact on this medium. These comic books for
'adults only' mixed hard-core sex with a variety of themes that
included humorous social satire, Hippie drug culture, science
fiction, and gore-drenched horror. Three major contributors
to this scene that you might recognize are artists S. Clay Wilson,
Richard Corben, and Robert Crumb. Then, in 1972, Ralph Bakshi
